The "Lasterbacher Band" were founded in a little valley called “Lasterbachtal”
in the heart of the “Westerwald”, a part of the highlands in the western part of Germany .

In 1979, six young musicians came together because they had joy
and enthusiasm for music in common.

In the last 25 years they were able to gain large success in and outside of Germany .

These likable musicians are still on their way to take their music into the world
as a compliment from the “Lasterbachtal” and the “Westerwald“

- according to the saying “Music will abolish frontiers”.
